Do you want to know more about your ancestors but you haven't a clue where to begin?

Many people are beginning to enquire about their family history. This can be for several reasons. For instance, some people may be aware of certain hereditary health issues and they want to know more about how it had affected their ancestors. Others carry out research because they have a yearning to know where their family originated, e.g. Africa, Europe, Asia, etc.  Some are doing it for historical reasons or as academic research. Many are just curious about finding family who are alive whom they may have yet met as yet. Whatever your reasons there are unlimited resources available on the internet, in universities, family history centres, genealogy departments in most countries, churches, etc.The Caribbean Family History Society will attempt to assist wherever possible.
