ANCESTRAL JOURNEYS:
AN INTRODUCTION TO TRACING YOUR CARIBBEAN
FAMILY HISTORY
Ancestral Journeys is an exploration of Caribbean genealogy, and the study of family histories. This will help you to identify and research your your most recent ancestors, i.e. your parents and grandparents, and then endeavours to take you back through your family line as far back as you dare to go (or as the evidence allows)!
The main focus will be on research to collect photographs, letters, births/marriages/death documents, using online resources, and eventually creating a family tree. The class will mostly focus on the English-speaking Caribbean countries.
